CaptivatingCanvases uses Planet – Carbon-neutral shipping to promote sustainability and offset the negative environmental impacts caused by shipping

Shipping Policy
Good things take time! All my pieces are made in small batches, individually, or on demand so the footprint is kept to a minimum. Sorry, no rush shipping available.

Shipping time and cost is determined by the piece (size, framing, stretched, etc.).

Orders normally ship within 7-10 business days after the order is placed (10-14 business days if you order more than 6 items).

Once an order has left Captivating Canvases, it is the responsibility of the courier/postal service.

We will only accept claims for lost or stolen merchandise if a tracking number is provided. Tracking numbers come with all purchased shipping and are provided via the confirmation e-mail after the order is shipped.

Shipping Packaging

Shipping & packaging cost is determined by the piece (size, framing, stretched, etc.).

• Most pieces will ship flat in a sturdy, well protected cardboard box. You can expect your new artwork to arrive with plenty of support within the packaging to make its journey as safe as possible as it travel’s to its new home.
• Larger pieces that need additional support, or pieces that include delicate framing, will ship in a customized, large, sturdy crate that is built for shipping the artwork anywhere in the world.
• Prints or canvases that are not stretched will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube. This method is especially safe for oversized pieces and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched (i.e., placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival.

Our contributions fund cutting-edge carbon removal and storage products that have the potential to reverse climate change. If we work together, we can and will achieve a sustainable world.

One of the key pillars that defines CaptivatingCanvases and Goodbyte’s Emporium is sustainability. Each piece is created using sustainable and environmentally friendly methods; from reusable & repurposed materials to carbon-neutral shipping.

We have therefore partnered with an initiative called ‘Planet’ from Shopify, which is a tool that allows us to not just offset these emissions before we ship your order but focus on carbon removal instead. While offsetting carbon through forest protection is hugely beneficial, Planet works to remove carbon instead. Every time we send out an order, Planet automatically calculates our shipping emissions, and ensures high-quality carbon removal to neutralize our shipping footprint.

When working with Planet, we support some of the world's most beneficial climate positive solutions across the globe, all of which have been approved by the Shopify Sustainability Fund. Shopify works with high-impact companies (such as Running Tide and Remora) through the Shopify Sustainability Fund to make a tangible, positive and inspiring impact on our environment.
